The Security Suite is not only because of the possible individual settings interesting fort he advanced user and the inexperienced user.

The integrated Firewall offers excellent protection against external attacks but showed poor results in the area of leak tests.
The Personal Firewall could only detect and block 5 of 25 conducted leak tests.

A good price-performance-ratio based on the fact that with every purchased licence you can secure two computers/notebooks for two years makes BitDefender Internet Security v10 one of the cheapest Security Suites within the IT security market.

Trend Micro - PC-cillin Internet Security 2007

Our tests have shown that the new security solution from Trend Micro, PC-cillin Internet Security 2007, contains several welcome improvements, especially when compared to the previous version.

The Security Suite combines very good basic protection with excellent usability. It appeals to both professional and inexperienced users, not least because of the high number of useful protection modules it provides.
The program is also visually attractive and easy to use.

Softwin - BitDefender 9.0 Professional Plus

In conclusion to that BitDefender 9 Professional Plus achieved the security award “ProtectStar Excellent Security 2006” and was awarded with the “Product Recommendation of the Month”.

The antivirus-scan engine of BitDefender 9 Professional Plus was lately added with the antispyware-module. This means that BitDefender is able to detect and delete viruses, worms and Trojan horses as well as spyware codes of all sorts.

The detection rate of the BitDefender 9 Professional Plus scan engine was measured with 99,03% which is the highest rate of recognition referring to malware measured by ProtectStar this year.

The integrated Personal Firewall of BitDefender 9 Professional Plus is a technology developed by SOFTWIN who is the manufacturer of the BitDefender product line.
It was able to avert all known attacks and security checks as well as passing a penetration test of several hours successfully. In the area of DOS-attacks the Personal Firewall acted also very solidly. In the end it was not possible to interfere the functionality of the personal firewall in such way that there would be a significant influence on the firewall performance.

Our test procedures have shown Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 14 to be a visually appealing, easy-to-use security suite.
 
The package combines very good basic protection with excellent performance characteristics, and is attractive to professional and novice users alike due to its variety of useful modules. We would like to emphasise PC-cillin Internet Security 14’s good detection rate at 96.37% and very good protection function.
